The Italian State Railways Group with Italcertifer at the Asia Pacific Rail


Asia Pacific Rail has just ended, one of the most important events in the railway sector and mobility in general in the area of ​​the Asian continent which, from 10 to 12 November, took place in virtual mode due to the emergency health in progress.

The participation of exhibitors and companies interested in developing collaborations was thus guaranteed in total safety, also allowing for a broad sharing of information and comparisons on specific issues.

Digitization and innovation are the elements that emerged during the event as those factors that are most characterizing the trends in the sector, transforming it and pushing it towards more efficient and effective mobility.

Five macro themes addressed: Digital Rail, Operations, Maintenance & Asset Management, Signalling & Communication, Technology Showcase and Project update, whose aspects were explored through the contribution of 180 international speakers and the involvement of the main active companies and managers in the railway sector worldwide.

Italcertifer took an active part with the topic "Providing a safe, reliable rail System" as a technical reference for the assessment and certification activity (Technology Showcase);

The features and offer of the entire Group were then enriched by the Company Profile video and the brochure as well as by a virtual Booth tour, which offered a 360° overview of what the stand would have been like in the presence of FS.

Among the material shared and made available to interested users, three short video interventions by Ambassadors, His Excellency Mr. De Luca (New Delhi, India), H.E. Mr. Galanti (Bangkok, Thailand), and H.E. Mr. Tardioli (Canberra, Australia), who are active in the three countries where Ferrovie dello Stato has greater interest, which highlighted the competence and professionalism of our Group, underlining its potential in contributing to the development of railway projects in their respective countries.
